golang-1.7 software package provides Go programming language compiler - metapackage, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-1.7
golang-1.7 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-1.7 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-1.7 *
You will get with golang-1.7 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
